One year ago, I entered my mom's candied pecan recipe into the SB Fair & Expo and won first place in the amateur division for confections. When I went to pick up my blue ribbon, the woman at the fair said she hoped to see my candied pecans back next year in the professional class. This year, I did just that and Black Bow Sweets candied pecans won a Best of Show award! I am so honored by this win and so grateful to live and work in a community that encourages and celebrates local businesses. Cheers to you, Santa Barbara!
